Streched confectional trouser, average size.
My work titled “Memorial” is a pair of starched trousers for men – without a supporting structure – placed on a low pedestal. It is a piece standing with deli- cate balance which may topple at any time as a result of “external influence” or “internal change”. (Despite the above, the piece is not perishable or susceptible to collapsing, and it does not re- quire any special attention after its installation)
By way of its material and presentation, it is also its own irony.
