„The current exhibition was directly inspired by the closing image of Béla Tarr Werkmeister’s film titled
Harmonies and the barely audible, therefore almost slurred, sentence of one of its characters,
the Prince. Mentioning fear incited itself and chaos in the minds
of men. Self-inciting immaterial fear brought massive self-destruction. In this hopeless state, one
can barely hear the Prince in his quiet monologue, almost expecting destruction and ruins, believing,
as he says:
…in every ruin resides the possibility of reconstruction.”
